Off to Hawaii

Well, Easter is tomorrow and I've made it through the busy spring season with my Etsy site. I really started making my Easter items in February around Valentine's Day. Once I started listing, I never really stopped. There was a lot of spun cotton, vintage Easter and miscellaneous being sold until today.
Now, my Husband and I are off to Hawaii to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. The kids are staying home with the Grandparents and we're going to have a great time.
When I get back, I'll be listing all sorts of patriotic items, perfect for July 4th.
Until then, Aloha!!

Spring Flush!

Spring has arrived here in the valley. I love gardening and I can't help but share some photos of my garden that is blooming away. I love foxglove, roses, lobelia and anything else that will be showy and bright. This is a picture of one foxglove.

Spring Trio

This is a wonderful little trio that I put together today. They are spun cotton girls, each holding something different, and just waiting to brighten someone's day.
I just love the vintage egg cups that are each standing on. I really hope they sell as a trio because they all just look so good standing next to each other.
The egg cups have been knocking around in my Easter craft box for some time now! The inspiration hit me the other day and I hope everyone loves them!!

Pink Bunny Kitsch!

These cute bunnies came my way some time ago. I was listing them on my Etsy Site last week and I told my Husband that they would sell really fast.
Yes, they are kitschy, different, unique and a bit odd. But Etsy is full of artists and buyers who love this very kind of thing. The next morning I got up and checked my site and they were sold! I wish I had twenty more to sell.

The Big Makeover!

I spent quite a bit of time working on these chickies!

There was a lot of cleaning, glueing and dressing up, but I think they turned out really great.

I listed the chicks in three different lots on my Etsy site and sold them all right away. I was hoping to keep a few for myself, but oh well!

Off they went to new homes and hopefully they will be super cute for their new owners :)
